CommentaryElizabeth Brook, Marchioness of Northampton, was the second daughter of Lord Cobham and second wife of William Parr, Marquess of Northampton. Parr was one of Henry VIII's associates and brother of Catherine Parr, Henry's sixth and last wife. The allegorical figure on the reverse refers to her devotion.
