This medal commemorates the marriage of Magdalena Welser to Georg Roemerin in 1525 in Nuremberg, as well as Magdalena's death in 1582. Georg was from Mansfeld, studied in Leipzig, and worked as an assessor in Nuremberg. The medal combines an earlier obverse with a later reverse.
