Heinrich Ribisch (1485–1544), Georg Hermann (1491–1552), and Konrad Maier (1493–1565)

Ribisch, Hermann, and Maier were business partners in the service of the Fuggers, a leading banking family in Augsburg. Hermann, related to the Fuggers by marriage, was a medal enthusiast and the likely commissioner of this "friendship medal."
