CommentaryNothing is known about the sitter besides her name and origin, and the specificity of the date seems to relate to the temporal quality of the impresa on the reverse; it could be a sort of horoscope. The reverse has been interpreted alternately as the figure of Opportunity with the forelock of Fortune seizing Time.
